1. Railway Bridges of Southern Railway, Madurai Region (Photograph) The Southern Railway awarded the project of construction of Minor Bridges to SAAG RR Infra Limited. The work consists of constructing minor bridges at various locations in the Madurai Region. Construction of these minor bridges has been completed. The Railways have been very appreciative of the project quality. The total value of the Project awarded is INR 8 Million 2. Road Project (Photograph) The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) of the Government of Tamil Nadu has awarded a Contract to SAAG RR Infra Limited for up-gradation including WBM and blacktopping of roads connecting various villages, including construction of CD works. DRDA was appreciative of the quality of work done by SAAG RR. This is part of the Prime Minister’s scheme for connecting every village by a proper road network. The total cost of the Project is INR 12 Million. ^ Environment
1. Construction of Raw Water Reservoir, Fire Water Reservoir and Overhead Tank at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Chennai. (Photography) This Project is located in the III refinery expansion of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Manali, Chennai. The Project envisages different aspects like Construction of 22.5 Million Litres Ground Water Reservoir for raw water and fire water, drinking water system including construction of RCC overhead tank, installation of pumps, valves, sand filters and pipeline works etc. The Project also includes the construction of 350 sq. mts. of pump house to accommodate all mains and accessories of water supply and reservoir system. The foundation for all these structures is bored cast in situ Piles resting over hard strata. The total cost of the Project is INR 70 Million, and it was awarded to SAAG RR Infra Limited by M/s Shriram Engineering Construction Company Limited, Chennai on a back-to-back basis. 2. Design and construction of underground tank near Neyveli The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board awarded this INR 48.95 Million project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. We were qualified to quote for the construction of this 22.5-million-litre capacity under-ground tank and were awarded the project after a Technical Evaluation, overcoming stiff competition. Construction is currently under progress. It also involved the process of designing the structure for seismic conditions. It is a complicated work involving working at 5mts below ground level. It also involved large scale concreting and shuttering activities. 3. Gudiyatham Water Supply Project: (Photograph) M/s.Almech Engineers awarded this project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. This project caters to the drinking-water needs of Gudiyatham town in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. It consists of construction of ground-level reservoirs, rising mains, construction of over-head tank and laying of PSC, AC & CI pipes, approximately 11000 meters in length. ^ Pipelines - Water and SewerIn the next three to five years, the Government of India plans are on to lay more than 15000 km of Oil & Gas pipeline. Recently, some of the major companies in this industry, both the Private and Public, have struck Oil & Gas reserves, and the Gas Authority of India (GAIL) is planning to form a network of pipeline across the country. Some of the projects require substantial prequel conditions for eligibility to bid. For the purpose of bidding in large projects SAAG RR is looking at forming joint venture with large Oil & Gas companies in the world to enable RR to use their pre qualifications to bid for the projects. This will provide the platform for the company to gain experience in executing large size projects and thereby enable the company to bid for large projects directly in their name. SAAG RR, with the recent acquisition of controlling stake by SAAG, has formed a new division to focus on Oil & Gas projects. SAAG being a services company catering to the needs of Oil & Gas sector in Malaysia and the region, will pass on its expertise and contacts to SAAG RR to capitalize on the growing Oil & Gas sector in India. The Government has announced various ambitious projects in the Oil & Gas sector. New Blocks have been given to private players and recently the Government has announced a New Licensing Policy and invited private participation in exploration of new blocks. Apart from the new opportunities through the award of the above blocks, the existing infrastructure requires support services in terms of consulting, revamp, reconstruction, and maintenance. The Oil companies are also inviting suggestions and consulting for upgrading their existing technology and equipments. ^ Structures- Industrial and Commercial

This project comprises of RCC structure with steel truss and roofing with internal finishes like flooring, false ceiling etc. The total cost of the Project was INR 1.7 Million. Academic Buildings at IIT, Chennai 
SAAG RR was awarded the project to construct the Academic buildings at IIT Chennai. These include: Mechanical Science Block, IC & SR Building III floor, Library Canopy Extension work and Lecture Hall Complex II & III floor. The Project was completed in accordance with stringent quality standards, and earned the praise of the client. The total value of the Projects was INR 35.16 Million. Lotus Beauty Care Products Pvt. Ltd, Haridwar(Photograph of Haridwar) Lotus Beauty Care Private Limited, Haridwar awarded this project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. It involved construction of a large production unit of RCC-framed structure along with office buildings and Utility areas. The total cost of the project was INR 26 Million. Sara Lee ChennaiThe project involves construction of a new factory, alterations to the existing factory of Sara Lee Household and Beauty Care India Pvt. Ltd, Maraimalainagar, Chennai. This project requires coordination of various activities and interaction with the client on continuous basis, as it involves renovation of an existing factory. The project is in an advanced stage of completion. It is valued at INR 17 Million. BHEL, TrichyThe project involves Annual Maintenance for a period of one-year and Construction of Factory, Township, Roads, Railway Sidings etc at BHEL Trichy. The project awarded to SAAG RR Infra Limited is valued at INR 35 Million, excluding cost of resources such as cement and steel. Well-known architects M/s Madan Associates awarded this project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. The project involves the construction of showrooms and business chambers. The building comprises of a three-storey RCC-framed structure and a basement. The building also has provision for housing units. The Project was completed in February 2004, at a cost of INR 80 Million. University Academic Complex, Kanchipuram
SAAG RR has constructed the Academic Complex in the campus of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Viswa Maha Vidyalaya, Kanchi Mutt. The complex is a multi-purpose utility building. The project includes roads with culverts, drainage etc. The entire project is valued at INR 30 Million. Staff Quarters for Southern Railway at Teynampet, Chennai 
Southern Railways awarded this deluxe-class Officers’ Quarters project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. This Project consists of 2 blocks, each block being of G+ 7 structure and parking facility at the ground. The foundation is made of bored cast in situ Pile and the structure is a RCC framed consisting of columns and beams. The total built-up area is 40,000 sq.ft. The stringent quality standards and timely completion of the project earned the appreciation of the client. The project was valued at INR 30 Million. Southern Railways, Chennai, awarded this housing project to SAAG RR Infra Limited. This Project consists of 9 blocks, each consisting of 20 housing units. Every unit is of load bearing construction and spread out over 60000 sq ft floor area. The project is valued at INR 35 Million Corporate Guest House Building for Sterling Computers(Photograph) Sterling computers awarded SAAG RR Infra Limited this project with the focus on meeting a stringent deadline and quality. The project involves the construction of an RCC-framed structure with a floor area of 3500 sft. The total cost of the project is INR 3 Million. Velachery Housing Complex Chennai (Photograph) SAAG RR Infra Limited has adopted an innovative low-cost approach to this housing project. The building is load-bearing construction, and consists of 3 blocks of total area of 30,000 sq. ft with a total cost of INR 30 Million. This is a four-storied structure with the dwelling units of 3-and 2-bedroom types. Commercial-cum-housing complex at Velachery, Chennai

This RCC-framed structure has a floor area of 37000 sq. ft, and includes all amenities and ample car parking facilities. The total cost of the project is INR 50 Million. This work is entrusted by M/S Rajappa Shobhana Architects of Chennai. Luxury Apartments at T Nagar 
This is of RCC-framed structure with sprawl of 8200 sq. ft. It consists of four luxury apartments, one in each floor. SAAG RR Infra Limited has constructed this four-storied building at a total cost of INR 16.50 Million. Residential Apartments, Valsaravakkam, Chennai 
This is a four-storied apartment with an RCC-framed structure of total construction area of 20,000 sq. ft. The total cost of the project is INR 20 Million. Salupriya Apartments- Madipakkam, Chennai 
This project is of RCC framed structure with a floor area of 34000 sq ft and rich furnishing specifications. The second phase of this project is already underway. The approximate cost of this project is INR 35 Million Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mumbai. Construction of various structures such as cylinder storage shed, Gas filling station, Cylinder unloading Shed, Pressure testing Sheds etc and infrastructure works such as Asphalt roads, RCC drive ways, etc costing INR 35 Million. The work is at the advance stage of completion. National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Simhadri Plant, VIZAG The construction of a 5- storey Administrative building for NTPC , Viag has been placed on Turnkey basis including, Architectural and Structural Design, construction of building including Electrification, Utilities, Internal and External Fountain work , path ways, Land Scaping etc at a lump sum cost of INR 69 Million. Initial activities have started at site and Design and Drawings are under preparation. The order was received under stiff competition. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project Construction of 44 nos. (4 Blocks) of B type and 15 nos. of E Type Residential quarters at Anuvijay Township at Chettikulam Village. The total cost of the Project is INR 52 Million. The completion period for this Project is 18 months from 6th August 05 and the work is in progress. Government of India, Department of Space, Bangalore ( I S R O ) Construction of Canteen Block, Administrative Block, Reception cum Security Building at Gate No. 1 & 3, ISITE, Marathahalli, Bangalore. The work consists of Civil and PH works. The work has to be completed in 9 months from 15th September 05. The mobilization for work is in progress. |
